Introductory class
with Suzanne

September 5 (Monday)
at 8:00 pm

Class length
45 minutes

All proceeds for this class will go to Odanadi Seva Trust, a home in Mysore, India for children who have been rescued from human traffickers.

This is a class for complete beginners or anybody new to the shala who would like to cover the absolute basics of the ashtanga yoga practice.

This class will provide a solid introduction to the practice of ashtanga yoga, including the breathing method, an introduction to bandha and drishti, a few sun salutations and a few of the postures from the primary series. It will be a fairly informal class with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

If would like to start practising ashtanga yoga but are a little nervous about coming to a regular class where you might be the only beginner, this class could be the perfect start.

Please note that this class is only offered as an in-person class. It will not be available as an online class.
